Hi, my name is Melvin Frink from Mindless. I was once a promising medical student concentrating on neurosurgical procedures. More specifically, I was confident that we could justify the lobotomization treatment in some patients.

Controversial? Yes.

But, I was making headway and earning the respect of my peers, until a terrible accident put me in a coma. Three years later, I awoke with renewed determination.

Mother wouldn’t like what I had in mind. Or would she?

  1. Indiana Christophers

It’s the story of a sociopath who’s targeting women in the city. I don’t want to give away too much, but let’s just say that the nutjob is very clever and the detective is in for a long night. The book is full of suspense I loved it!

  2. Joan Ware

Melvin has been abducting college girls in this horrifying good book. I’m not sure what it is about those poor, unsuspecting girls that Melvin finds so irresistible, but he seems to have a never-ending supply of them at his disposal. The book follows Melvin on his reign of terror as he snaps them up one by one, often in the middle of the night, and imprisons them in his secret basement dungeon. Melvin is a truly chilling protagonist, and the author does a great job of making him both sympathetic and repulsive at the same time. The book is incredibly suspenseful, and I found myself staying up late into the night to finish it. If you’re looking for a good horror story, this is definitely the book for you. Just be sure to keep an eye on your college-aged daughters…you never know when Melvin might strike next.

  3. Kirsten Savidge

Melvin is abducting college girls and holding them captive in his basement. As always, RWK Clark is a master of suspense, keeping the reader guessing until the very end. While the ending may not be what everyone is expecting, it’s still a satisfying conclusion to the story. Mindless is true horror, and this book is sure to leave readers absolutely terrified.

  4. Allycia Bowman

If you’re looking for a book that will keep you up! It’s the story of a crazy psycho who preys on unsuspecting victims, and it’s truly terrifying. I couldn’t put it down, and I’m not even a big fan of horror novels. The characters are well-drawn and the plot is twisty and suspenseful. If you’re looking for a book that will keep you up all night, this is the one.

  5. Darcy Jack

Mindless is a heart-stopping thriller that will have you turning the pages well into the night. The story follows Melvin, a charming but sociopathic college student, as he systematically targets and seduces young co-eds. With each new conquest, Melvin’s hunger for power and control grows, until he finally meets his match a smart and diligent student who is determined to put an end to his predatory ways. Mindless is a fast-paced and disturbing read that will leave you questioning how well you really know your friends, colleagues, and acquaintances.

  7. Dakota Shaw

I was flipping google the other day when I came across a new thriller book. The cover showed a tagline that read “You’ll never suspect Melvin.” That should have been my first clue that something was off, but I was intrigued enough to pick up the book. I soon found out that Melvin is, in fact, a rapist. The book follows his exploits as he preys on women, sometimes violently. It’s a truly horrifying story, and I couldn’t put it down. If you’re looking for a suspenseful thriller that will keep you up at night, this is the book for you. Just be warned Melvin is not a nice guy.

  8. Kiana Snell

The story follows a crazy who is on the loose in a college town and the detective who is trying to catch him. I don’t want to give too much away, but let’s just say that the suspense will keep you turning the pages late into the night. Trust me. This is one book that you won’t be able to put down.

  9. Emmy Ridge

Horror lovers if you like crazy kidnapping rapist stories Melvin is definitely a psycho. He’s obsessed which leads him to some pretty creepy behavior. Overall, Melvin is definitely not someone you would want to be friends with.

  10. Kristine Readdie

This book is psycho. I don’t mean in the “oh this is a thriller and the killer is slowly losing his grip on reality” kind of way. I mean in the “the protagonist Melvin is an unhinged, murderous maniac and I can’t believe I finished this book” kind of way. If you’re looking for a light, fun read, this is not the book for you. But if you enjoy reading about psychopaths doing psychopath things, then you’ll probably get a kick out of this one. Just be warned: it’s not for the faint of heart.

  11. Lorainne Pressley

Melvin is one twisted freak. In this psychological thriller, he does things that will make your skin crawl. From murdering to torturing, Melvin is a sicko who enjoys inflicting pain. The author does a great job of making him seem like a real person, which makes the book all the more disturbing. If you’re looking for a horror story that will keep you up at night, this is the one for you. Just be prepared to have nightmares about Melvin for weeks to come.

  12. Eden Hopkins

This book is twisted, freaky, and downright psycho. Melvin is a seriously disturbed individual, and the author does an excellent job of making the reader feel his insanity. The book is gripping and disturbing, and I couldn’t put it down. If you’re looking for a psychological thriller that will leave you feeling disturbed, then this is the book for you. Just be warned, Melvin is one seriously messed up guy.

  13. Camellia West

Melvin is a kidnapper in this book, and he is absolutely horrifying. His victims are always terrified, and he seems to enjoy their fear. He is a master of manipulation, and he always gets what he wants. The author does an excellent job of making him a truly chilling villain. The suspense is palpable, and the climax is absolutely heart-stopping. I could not put this book down, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good thriller.
