    If you’re looking for a book that will terrify you from going to the hospital, then this is the book for you! I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared of the medical field after reading this. It’s full of suspense and terror, and it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. The author does a great job of making you feel like you’re right there in the middle of the action, and I couldn’t put it down. If you’re looking for a good medical thriller book, then I would highly recommend this one.

    I’m glad I gave this book a second chance. I started it a few months ago and didn’t really get into it, then for some reason decided to pick it up again. For me, it took a few chapters before I really got sucked in, and I very much had a few moments thinking

    If I never have to go to the hospital again, it’ll be too soon. And after reading this book, I’m even more terrified of the idea. It’s not that the book is particularly graphic or gruesome. It’s just that it paints a very convincing picture of how easy it is for things to go wrong in a hospital setting. Whether it’s due to error, negligence, or just plain bad luck, the author shows how patients can end up suffering needlessly-and sometimes even dying-as a result of incompetent care. Thankfully, my own experiences with the medical profession have been mostly positive. But this book has definitely given me pause for thought the next time I’m tempted to make an appointment with my doctor.
