Instrument Series - Art

The Instrument series highlights how the body can be used as a material to generate music. Each piece centers the and an instrument in a manner that merges between the fine lines of the instrument and that of he female form suggesting that music, creativity, and beauty are to be found in all of us. The accessories in the works are kept to a minimum with only the female and the instrument visible. The classicness of the pieces done in order to add to the model's personality in a manner that does not focus on the accessories and distracts from the theme. This explains why only one instrument is visible in each image. Sometimes another accessory is placed in the foreground with the musical instrument strategically but still visibly in the background. This includes for instance an image of a model has her legs elegantly crossed on a chair. Elements alike help create diagonal lines in the composition of the image as they are formed naturally while the model is sitting or straddling a chair conveying thereby a distinct mood ranging from assertiveness to reflective thoughtfulness. Most of the work in the instrument series affirms the relaxed mood further given how it helps take the load of the subjectís. The presentation of the model into or against the instrument affirms in each image the idea of female oneness with musicality and creativity further.
